Mauricio Pochettino's response when asked whether Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Mousa Dembele will play against Arsenal

Tottenham Hotspur are set to face Arsenal at White Hart Lane tomorrow.

Mauricio Pochettino has offered Tottenham Hotspur fans hope that Mousa Dembele could play against Arsenal tomorrow, with his comments in the Guardian.

Spurs face the Gunners at White Hart Lane tomorrow, in what is arguably the biggest North London Derby of all time.

The winners of the match will take big step closer to lifting the title in May, while putting a major dent in their rival’s hopes.

Tottenham are the favourites to win the match, but there are fears that Spurs could be without Dembele.

The Belgian midfielder has picked up a groin injury, and he was forced to miss Spurs’ last match against West Ham United, which they lost 1-0.

Dembele has been one of Tottenham’s most important players this term, and Pochettino has offered hope that he could make an unlikely comeback.

“Maybe, it is possible he will be selected,” the Argentine boss said, when asked whether Dembele would play against Arsenal.

The Guardian say that Dembele is set to be put through his paces today, as Spurs assess his fitness.

If Tottenham do beat Arsenal in the early-kick off on Saturday, they will go six points clear of Arsene Wenger’s side, and move to the top of the Premier League table.
