Martin Allen predicts big things for West Ham under Gold and Sullivan.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, Martin Allen has predicted that West Ham’s future under David Gold and David Sullivan can only move in a positive manner.

Allen said: “The new team that Mr Sullivan and Mr Gold have funded will most definitely suit the new glamorous stadium and I can only see my old club going from strength to strength and now mixing it with the big boys challenging for the Champions League.”

The Hammers are pushing for European football this season, and following their victory over Tottenham on Wednesday they sit just one point off the top four.

That is better than anyone would have predicted at the start of the season, and with the form they are currently in, Slaven Bilic should seriously consider his team as gatecrashers in the top four.

Yet, this is just the start for West Ham.

Next season brings a new stadium - with increased revenue - and the number TV deal, which can take the Hammers to the next level.

Their squad is already full of talent, and that is only going to improve as the years wear on, and Allen predicts that Gold and Sullivan can take the Hammers into the Champions League and mixing with the big boys of European football.

Gold and Sullivan have been criticised for decisions they have made involving the Hammers, but in recent years they have sorted themselves out, and everything they are doing is moving the club in a progressive manner.

They should take a lot of the praise for West Ham’s current - and future - success, and Gold and Sullivan are rightfully enjoying every minute of this season.
