Pundit is concerned over Mesut Ozil's workrate.
Ozil is the Premier League's leader in assists and could set an individual record, but the German international's ability to track back has come in for criticism.
Redknapp explained that he felt Ozil exposed his team against Manchester United a week ago, despite the fact from an attacking perspective he scored one goal and carved out a chance for Nacho Monreal to score which he could not take advantage of.
He said: "I like Mesut Ozil, for example. What a player. But on Sunday he was letting people run past him. If he does that this Saturday he will get killed.
"Midfield is where it’s won and lost in this game and I really fear for Arsenal. If you are Arsenal you will simply run out of lives soon. But they have a lifeline this week and they have to take it."
Ozil will be key to Arsenal's attack, but if he can put pressure on Tottenham's holding midfielder Eric Dier and make life difficult for him then it could have an effect on the outcome of the game.
The fixture is not a game for passengers and Ozil must work hard to ensure that he is as big a contributor without the ball as he is with it.
