The pundit has been previewing Newcastle's clash with Eddie Howe's men.
But he has made the claim that Newcastle have been 'exceptional' at home. Indeed, he sees goals at St James' Park but can't separate the two sides.
The pundit told Sky Sports News on Friday afternoon: "I’ve gone for goals. Bournemouth have got plenty of goals. Newcastle have been exceptional at home and poor away from home. I think it’s 50/50, so I’ve gone for a draw."
However, as the Premier League home table proves, the Magpies would be 13th based solely on their form at St James' Park. Some performances may have warranted more than the end result but that doesn't matter.
Ultimately, four wins from 13 home games is far from 'exceptional' form from Newcastle.
It seems Redknapp used an unfortunate choice of words, although Steve McClaren's side have fared much better on Tyneside than they have away from home, where they have won just twice in 14 games.
Do you agree with Redknapp that the best Newcastle can hope for against the Cherries is a point?
