Hull City lost 1-0 to Birmingham City yesterday evening at St. Andrews.
Hull City supporters have not been impressed by Adama Diomande’s performance for them against Birmingham City yesterday evening.
The striker came on in the closing stages of their match against Birmingham, as they looked to turn the match on its head.
However, he did not manage to make the desired impact, as Steve Bruce’s side fell to a damaging defeat.
Hull would have moved to the top of the Championship table with a win last night, but they were unable to break down a resolute Birmingham side.
The Blues took the lead through Jon Toral, and although Hull kept pushing for an equaliser they could not find the back of the net.
Hull fans have been left bemused why Diomande came on to the pitch instead of Chuba Akpom.
Akpom has played far more regularly than Diomande this term, but Bruce favoured the Norwegian at St. Andrews.
Diomande has now scored just once in eight appearances for Hull, although many of these displays have been as a substitute.
Here is the best reaction to the 26-year-old’s display last night.
Is Chuba injured? not sure why Diomande got a place and he didn't...Give him his chance to prove himself like he can #hcafc— Linda (@linda_Hull25) March 4, 2016
I thought diomande was decent up top with Abel, but felt like again abel didn't do enough, feel for akpom— Eddie Hitler (@Hcafc_Callum) March 4, 2016
@PJBuckingham no plan B though have we? See no logic at all in not having Akpom in the bench. Wrong. Diomande is way off.— Chris Robertson (@chrissyrobbo77) March 3, 2016
People slating diomande when he didn't do anything wrong, how can you expect him to perform when he hasn't played consistently #hcafc— Jord (@Jordan_Macca32) March 3, 2016
@AndyMedcalf Diomande's struggles made Akpom's omission even more confusing.— Simon Edmond (@Tuckineddy) March 3, 2016
What a waste of money diomande was— Nath (@nath_green8) March 3, 2016
