The North London derby is tomorrow afternoon and Spurs can go top of the league.
With the season drawing to a close both clubs are still in the hunt for the Premier League title and know that defeat in this fixture could effectively be the end of their title hopes.
Arsenal go into the game on the back of four games without a win and three straight defeats - so are the underdogs at White Hart Lane. However Spurs lost their last game against West Ham.
But he told Sky Sports News this week (04/03/2016) that he felt Tottenham were the favourites on this occasion:
"I think at this moment Tottenham are huge favourites, both from the injury point of view of Arsenal and the home form.
"I think it is the best Tottenham team I have seen for many many years. I'm not being sarcastic here but obviously it has been 19-20 years since Tottenham finished above Arsenal."
That must have been a painful assessment of affairs in North London for a man with such intrinsic links to Arsenal FC.
Tottenham fans however are rightly excited about the game. A win could see them stretch away from Arsenal and, as it is an early kick-off on Saturday, go top of the Premier League.
Leicester City, the table toppers, face Watford later that evening and Spurs will hope they go into the game at Vicarage Road off the top of the table.
