Reigning champions Chelsea are not the only Premier League side interested in Millwall talent Christian Mbulu, HITC Sport understands.
HITC Sport sources close to the situation understand that Swansea City, Watford, and Crystal Palace are all keeping tabs on the youngster after being impressed with his performances in under-21 games against their respective sides.
Mbulu was linked with Chelsea last week, reported the print edition of The Sun, cited by The Star's website.
The teenager was signed from non-league side Brentwood Town, and has been likened in style to Manchester United centre-back Chris Smalling.
Mbulu was included in the first team squad at the weekend for the first time, an unused substitute in the League One clash with Doncaster Rovers, which ended in a draw.
The 19-year-old is the captain of the under-21 side, and Millwall evidently believe he could contribute for the first team if circumstances require.
A move to Chelsea could be tough for his career at this early stage given the sheer number of young players on their books who are sent out on loan. If any of Swansea, Watford or Crystal Palace decided to step up their interest into anything substantial, they would need to convince Mbulu they are a perfect half-way house between Chelsea and Millwall in terms of his development and getting playing time.
