West Ham United won 1-0 at Upton Park last night, but Celtic were held to a 0-0 draw.
It was a night of mixed emotions for Sinclair, as he was able to celebrate a Hammers win, but both City and Celtic fell to disappointing results.
West Ham beat Tottenham Hotspur 1-0 to strengthen their bid for the top four.
However, City were hammered 3-0 by Liverpool at Anfield, and Celtic were only able to play out a 0-0 draw with Dundee.
City’s spot in the Champions League qualification spaces now looks in doubt, while the Bhoys are only four points clear of Aberdeen at the top of the Scottish Premiership table.
Those two results were enough to take the gloss of West Ham’s win for Sinclair, but the former England international insists now isn’t the time to panic.
Sinclair also went on to state the Roy Hodgson should be taking a look at West Ham’s players, with the London club in such fine form.
The likes of Mark Noble and Aaron Cresswell have played key roles for Slaven Bilic’s side, yet they have never received a call-up to England’s senior squad.
