Arsenal goalkeeper will miss the North London derby.
Arsenal have been dealt a serious blow ahead of Saturday's North London derby after goalkeeper Petr Cech injured his hamstring.
Ridiculously he did so running back from a corner from which he had gone up to try and score in the dying stages as Arsenal lost to Swansea City.
The surprise loss means Arsenal have now lost three games in succession ahead of the clash away at title rivals Tottenham Hotspur, and have now lost their first choice goalkeeper too, with David Ospina set to replace him.
Arsene Wenger confirmed the news after the 2-1 loss, with Arsenal's official website quoting him telling a press conference: "He will not play on Saturday. I trust Ospina completely."
Tottenham slipped to a 1-0 loss against West Ham the same evening but still maintain a three point lead over the Gunners, which they can double at the weekend with a win at White Hart Lane.
With Laurent Koscielny set to miss the game too through injury and Arsenal struggling for form and confidence, it is all set up for a Tottenham victory, but Mauricio Pochettino's side need to show they can take advantage of such circumstances.
Here is a look at how Spurs fans reacted to the Arsenal goalkeeper picking up an injury ahead of the pivotal fixture...
