Swansea City hero Lee Trundle reacts to Arsenal win, suggests next three games are key

Swansea beat Arsenal 2-1 in the Premier League last night.

Swansea City picked up a massive win in their fight for Premier League survival last night. They picked up all three points against title-chasing Arsenal at The Emirates.

Goals from Wayne Routledge and Ashley Williams saw Arsenal downed at home by Swansea yet again. The result saw them stretch away from relegation rivals Norwich City, Sunderland and Newcastle United - who all dropped points this week.

It was a result that had one Swansea City icon particularly excited. Lee Trundle spent four years as a Swan, and became a cult icon for his magnificent skill and mercurial style during his time with the club.

He took to Twitter last night to celebrate the win. He tweeted:

Indeed the three games he has listed are key. All three teams are in the relegation fight, although Villa look as good as gone.

But a win against Norwich should see them ensure they finish above the Canaries this term. Whilst Bournemouth could still be dragged back in.

Those three games come three in a row, starting with Norwich on Saturday. Three wins and the Welsh side are surely safe on 39 points.

Reasons to be cheerful for Trundle and co.
