Rangers signed seven youngsters to new contracts today.
Rangers today confirmed on their official website that seven young players have all signed new contracts at Ibrox, including Liam Burt and Jamie Barjonas.
The Gers, who previously brought through players like Allan McGregor, Alan Hutton, Charlie Adam and Chris Burke, are seeking to develop a host of new young players with manager Mark Warburton at the helm.
Warburton has a long history in youth development, and it seems that he will be able to continue that strategy at Ibrox after today's news.
Rangers confirmed on their official website that Kieran Wright, Kyle Bradley, Jason Krones, Aidan Wilson, Grant Nelson, Jamie Barjonas and Liam Burt have all signed new contracts at Ibrox, with Wright, Barjonas and Burt signing until 2018, with the other four players until 2017.
The biggest name of the lot is midfielder Burt, who made his Rangers debut against Raith Rovers on Tuesday night, and has been tipped for stardom with Rangers.
Now with his future committed to Rangers, Burt is likely to see more and more first-team football this season, and fans took to Twitter after the announcement to react to the new contracts, focusing on Burt.
Supporters are keen to see Burt play more football from now until the end of the season, believing that he could be the pick of the crop having captained Scotland's Under-17 side.
Here are some of the reactions from Rangers fans after a host of young players signed new deals, with much of the focus placed on midfielder Burt...
