Paul Merson believes the North London derby will end in a draw.
Former Arsenal midfielder Paul Merson believes this weekend's North London derby will end in a draw.
Merson told SkySports in his weekly prediction column that he is torn over who will win the match, and does not believe Arsenal can go to White Hart Lane and win.
Predicting a 1-1 draw for Saturday's fixture, Merson said: "The way Arsenal are playing, I just cannot see them getting anything out of the game. No Cech, no Koscielny and if Tottenham get going, start well and score first, I can see it getting out of hand.
"The only problem is they looked tired the other day at West Ham and against Swansea, but I am going to go for a very hopeful 1-1, as that is what my heart is saying, but my head is telling me Tottenham are going to win this.
"Arsenal are all over the shop at the moment, they have just lost two in a row and are without their best defender and goalie so I do worry for them. This is not the greatest Arsenal team and they do not have a lot of fight in them."
Arsenal have lost three in succession if you count the Champions League defeat to Barcelona, and before that they could not beat Hull City at The Emirates in the FA Cup, drawing 0-0.
Tottenham have a three point gap over the Gunners and have a chance to double it, while Arsenal will hope to pull level on points with their rivals with a win, as they both chase down league leaders Leicester City.
Last season's match at White Hart Lane between the two teams ended 2-1 to Spurs with Harry Kane scoring twice.
The teams have met twice since then this season, with a 1-1 draw in the Premier League at The Emirates, and a 2-1 win for Arsenal in the Capital One Cup with Mathieu Flamini netting twice.
