Nottingham Forest midfielder Matty Cash has agreed a new long-term deal at the club and gone on loan to Dagenham & Redbridge, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
Cash joined Forest from Bisham Abbey-based FAB Academy in October 2014 after impressing during a trial stint at the City Ground.
The former Wycombe Wanderers trainee has made a major impact at Forest since his arrival and has quickly established himself in the club's under-21s after only a few games for the side's under-18s.
Cash signed a professional contract at Forest last February and the club have moved to reward him for his progress with a new long-term deal.
The central midfielder is highly-regarded within the corridors of power at Forest and Cash is seen as star of the future.
Dagenham manager John Still is desperate to bolster his squad before the loan window closes later this month and he sees Cash as a valuable addition to his plans.
Dagenham are currently rock bottom of League Two and are seven points adrift of safety as the season draws to a climax.
