Neil Lennon offers his opinion on Steve Evans

Bolton Wanderers and Leeds United will face each other in the Championship on Saturday.

Bolton Wanderers manager Neil Lennon has suggested on the club’s official Twitter page that he sympathises with Steve Evans’s situation at Leeds United.

Evans has come under pressure at Leeds due to the team’s recent results in the Championship.

On Monday evening, the West Yorkshire outfit suffered a 4-0 defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion away from home at the American Express Community Stadium in the league.

That result has spark suggestions that Leeds could be dragged into the relegation fight.

Bolton themselves are struggling for survival in the Championship at the moment, and manager Lennon has kind words for his opposite number Evans.

Leeds are 18th in the Championship table at the moment with 38 points from 33 matches.

The Whites are currently nine points above the relegation zone and have a game in hand.

Meanwhile, Bolton find themselves second from bottom in the standings at the moment with 25 points from 36 games.
