Micky Hazard reacts on Twitter to Tottenham Hotspur's defeat against West Ham United

Tottenham Hotspur were beaten 1-0 by West Ham United yesterday.

Tottenham Hotspur legend Micky Hazard has called for calm on Twitter, after Spurs’ defeat against West Ham United last night.

The Lilywhites were below par at Upton Park yesterday, and they fell to a 1-0 defeat against their London rivals.

West Ham scored through Michail Antonio in the first half, and the winning result could have been even greater.

The Hammers had a number of opportunities, but they were thwarted regularly by Hugo Lloris.

Spurs looked off the pace throughout the contest, but Hazard insists that now is not the time to panic.

Tottenham are still in the thick of the title battle, and they are only two points away from Leicester City at the top of the table.

Spurs also have a better goal difference than their main title challengers, giving them a slight advantage.

The Lilywhites’ next match comes against Arsenal at White Hart Lane on Saturday, and the winners of that contest will do their title chances the world of good.
