Former West Ham United midfielder Jack Collison has told the club's official Twitter account that it will be 'interesting' to see who Slaven Bilic picks as the club's first choice striker.
The Hammers enjoyed another superb night at Upton Park on Wednesday, as Michail Antonio was again the match-winner in a 1-0 victory, only this time it was Tottenham who they beat, as opposed to Sunderland on Saturday.
The result took West Ham to just one point away from the Champions League places, as manager Bilic receives great credit for the remarkable job he's done since arriving from Besiktas over the summer.
Now, Bilic could have a real selection dilemma on his hands. January signing Emmanuel Emenike started against Spurs having recently scored twice against Blackburn in the FA Cup, and did a sterling job in attack before being replaced by Andy Carroll, and then Diafra Sakho also came on late in the day.
Sakho had been West Ham's first-choice striker before picking up an injury in December, and will now have to work hard to regain that place in Bilic's side.
Ex-West Ham midfielder Jack Collison covered Wednesday's game on the club's Twitter account, and asked a key question; who will be Bilic's first choice striker going forward?
Collison noted that Emenike has impressed of late, but given how Sakho performed not only in the first half of this season but also last term, it promises to be an interesting decision for Bilic to make in the coming weeks, and at the very least offers him some outstanding competition for palces.
COLLISON: "It's interesting now Sakho is back. Who is Bilic going to pick as his first-choice? Emenike has got goals and is improving."— West Ham United FC (@whufc_official) March 2, 2016
