Tottenham have plenty of players in the current England set-up.
Tottenham Hotspur are certainly in the running for the Premier League title. They remain three points behind Leicester City in the table after suffering a defeat against London rivals West Ham United in the Premier League last night.
Much of Spurs' success has been built on an English core. The likes of Kyle Walker, Eric Dier, Harry Kane and Dele Alli are just a handful of the English talent shining at Spurs at the moment. Those three in particular will also be expecting to be on their way to France this summer for Euro 2016.
With that in mind England head coach Roy Hodgson has been keeping tabs on the situation at Spurs for some time.
Speaking to Sky Sports News today (03/03/2016) he had this to say about Tottenham's title challenge:
"Yes very much so (I am enjoying Tottenham's form). They are a very young side.
"A lot of people these days are giving them a lot of credit for what they are doing and I think they deserve it.
"I am really pleased for them. I am pleased for the coach and pleased for the club. It is going to be a very exciting last ten games I think.
"It'll be exciting for me to see how these players can negotiate the final stage of the competition because up to now they've done very well for their club."
Spurs experience of battling for a Premier League title could of course have knock-on benefits for England.
This summer the hope will be they can continue their form into the European Championships and help guide their nation to a similar level of success.
If that is the case then Tottenham fans may have a reason to be smug come July.
