Carlos Carvalhal promises not to change Sheffield Wednesday's style

Sheffield Wednesday are currently in sixth place in the Championship table.

Sheffield Wednesday manager Carlos Carvalhal insists that he will not be changing from his style as the season reaches its crunch stage.

The Owls have hit a slight blip over recent weeks and they have failed to win any of their last three matches.

Wednesday still occupy sixth spot in the Championship table, but their position in the play-offs is coming under threat.

However, Carvalhal is adamant that Wednesday’s current tactics are the right ones to get the best out of the squad.

The Owls were the form side in the Championship prior to their most recent three match winless run, which has rather halted their momentum.

Wednesday still look in a commanding position, though, and they will be hoping to make it over the line after working so hard to climb up the table.

The Owls lost a lot of ground on the promotion chasers due to their poor start, but they have climbed up the standings as the campaign has progressed.

Wednesday’s next match comes on Saturday against Neil Warnock’s Rotherham United side at Hillsborough.
