Yannick Bolasie and Bakary Sako react on Twitter to Palace's draw with Sunderland

The Crystal Palace Eagle

Crystal Palace drew 2-2 with Sunderland at the Stadium of Light yesterday.

Both Yannick Bolasie and Bakary Sako have expressed their delight on Twitter, after stepping up their comebacks from injury for Crystal Palace yesterday evening.

Bolasie and Sako both have missed a sizeable chunk of the season with injury, but they featured at the Stadium of Light yesterday evening.

Bolasie made his first start since December, while Sako was introduced as a late substitute.

The pair were unable to inspire Palace to three points on Wearside though.

The Eagles fell behind to Sam Allardyce’s side in the first half, when Dame N’Doye found the back of the net.

However, Palace hit back in the second period and looked to be on their way to claiming a vital victory when Connor Wickham hit the back of the net twice.

Alan Pardew’s side’s joy was short lived, though, as Fabio Borini rescued a point for his side in the last minute with an absolute wonder goal.

The draw means Palace have now failed to win any of their last 11 Premier League matches, but Sako and Bolasie couldn’t be too disappointed.
