Sky Sports pundit’s response when asked about West Ham’s target

West Ham United are doing well in the Premier League at the moment.

Former Leicester City and Norwich City striker Iwan Roberts said on the Sky Sports Now show on Sky Sports News HQ on Tuesday morning (10:24am) that West Ham United should be aiming to finish in the Europa League places.

“I think Europa League,” said Roberts when asked what the realistic aim for West Ham is.

West Ham are sixth in the Premier League table at the moment with 43 points from 27 matches.

The Hammers are only four points behind Manchester City, who are currently fourth in the standings and have a game in hand.

The London outfit are doing well in the Premier League at the moment and are playing some pretty good football as well.

A top-four finish may be beyond West Ham, but Slaven Bilic’s side can certainly end up in fifth or sixth.

If the Hammers continue to be consistent and pick up maximum points from their home matches, then a Europa League spot is within their reach.

West Ham will return to action this evening when they take on London rivals Tottenham Hotspur at the Boleyn Ground in the Premier League.
