West Bromwich Albion drew 2-2 with Leicester City at the King Power Stadium yesterday.
Saido Berahino has posted on social media site Twitter after West Bromwich Albion drew 2-2 with Leicester City yesterday evening.
The Baggies were the underdogs at the King Power Stadium, but they put in an excellent performance to avoid defeat.
West Brom took the lead in the first half, when Salomon Rondon opened the scoring.
However, Tony Pulis’ side were quickly pegged back, when Leicester scored twice through Danny Drinkwater and Andy King, and at that stage it seemed like the table toppers were well on their way to another victory.
West Brom hit back again through Craig Gardner, though, to score an unlikely equaliser and blow the title race wide open.
The result was a boost for West Brom, who have now managed to take four points from their last two games, and Berahino was pleased to have helped his side gain a point.
Pulis’ side have shown far greater attacker intent in recent weeks, and they are surely safe from relegation now.
West Brom are currently in 13th place in the Premier League table, having accumulated 36 points over the campaign so far.
