Ramiro Funes Mori claims one thing frustrated him about Everton's performance against Aston Villa

Everton beat Aston Villa 3-1 at Villa Park yesterday evening.

Ramiro Funes Mori has told the Daily Mail that he was slightly frustrated that Everton conceded to Aston Villa on Tuesday night.

Everton beat Villa 3-1, but Funes Mori showed how much of a perfectionist he is with his comments after the match.

The Argentine defender says that when Rudy Gestede hit a late consolation he was frustrated, even though Everton had largely dominated the match prior to that.

'I’m slightly frustrated we let one in, it was an unlucky play, it was a good header by the centre-forward (Rudy Gestede),” he said.

Funes Mori actually set Everton on their way to claiming the three points at Villa Park, after scoring in the early stages of the contest.

The summer signing headed home his fourth goal of the campaign from a set piece, before Aaron Lennon and Romelu Lukaku completed the triumph.

Even though Gestede’s goal did take some of the gloss of the scoreline, Roberto Martinez’s side still put in a very accomplished performance in the Midlands.

Everton are now in 10th place in the Premier League table and they have won five of their last six matches in all competitions.

The Toffees’ next contest comes against West Ham United at Goodison Park on Saturday.
