The Newcastle United players were training on Tuesday ahead of the Premier League game against Stoke City away from home on Wednesday evening.
Newcastle will head into the match against Stoke at the Britannia Stadium on the back of a 5-1 hammering by Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
The match was played back on February 13, and it will be interesting to see how the Magpies fare after such a long period of time.
Pressure is increasing on Newcastle head coach Steve McClaren, but the Englishman does not appear to be too worried.
As the photos here show, the former Nottingham Forest and Derby County manager did not show any signs of stress or frustration during Tuesday’s training session.
Newcastle are second from bottom in the Premier League table at the moment, and there is a real danger that they could go down to the Championship at the end of the season.
If the Magpies do get relegated, then it will be a disaster for the club, who may not be able to bounce straight back to the Premier League.
