Rangers prospect Liam Burt has tipped fellow youngsters Jack Thomson and Jamie Barjonas to become first-team players at Ibrox, as seen on the club's official website.
The Gers' academy has produced a host of decent players over the years, with players like Allan McGregor, Chris Burke, Alan Hutton, Charlie Adam and Ross McCormack coming up through the ranks with the Glasgow giants.
However, the conveyor belt of talent has somewhat slowed down in recent years. Players like John Fleck, Gregg Wylde, Ross McCabe and Jamie Ness all moved on, though Lewis MacLeod impressed last season before heading down to England with Brentford.
Now, with Mark Warburton at the helm - a manager whose coaching roots are in youth development - Rangers are attempting to blood young players again. Barrie McKay has been superb this term, Ryan Hardie has shown glimpses of his quality, whilst midfielder Liam Burt has been on the bench recently, and even came on for his Rangers debut against Raith Rovers on Tuesday night.
Burt is one of the most highly-rated young talents in Scotland, and should have a bright future at Rangers - but he has been asked who else is coming up through the ranks at Ibrox.
Burt, as quoted on the club's official website, tipped defender Jack Thomson and midfielder Jamie Barjonas for big futures in the Rangers first-team, if they get the chance - something made more likely with Warburton in the Ibrox dugout.
Do you think Burt, Thomson and Barjonas will become first-team players at Rangers?
