Jack Collison has suggested on West Ham United’s official Twitter that he was impressed with Dimitri Payet’s performance against Tottenham Hotspur this evening.
COLLISON: "Payet? He is outrageous. He's different class and it's nice to see him play with such freedom, popping up all over the pitch."— West Ham United FC (@whufc_official) March 2, 2016
West Ham got the better of London rivals Tottenham 1-0, Michail Antonio’s goal in the seventh minute proving to be the difference.
Payet, who has been superb throughout the season, played well against Spurs and showed his quality.
The 28-year-old took three shots, had a pass accuracy of 63%, created five chances, put in eight crosses, attempted six dribbles, and made one interception and one block.
The Frenchman is one of the best players in the Premier League at the moment, and his form in the final weeks of the campaign will be crucial for West Ham if they are to finish in the top four.
Slaven Bilic’s side will return to action on Saturday afternoon when they take on Everton away from home at Goodison Park in the Premier League.
