The former Tottenham player and manager believes Spurs must keep a cool head.
Tottenham Hotspur take on West Ham United tonight in a massive game for Mauricio Pochettino's men.
Last night saw Leicester City leave the door ajar after a 2-2 draw against West Brom at the King Power Stadium.
If Spurs can win their game in hand this evening, then they will rise to the top of the Premier League table on goal difference.
The only difficulty however is that Spurs are facing West Ham United. The club's London rivals are also flying this season under the management of Slaven Bilic.
So what does Tottenham legend Glenn Hoddle think of the game?
Hoddle, who played for and managed Spurs, took to Twitter earlier to make his prediction for the game:
Great London derby Tonight at Upton Park atmosphere will by great. Cool heads needed for Spurs to go top . Draw looks likely to me.— Glenn Hoddle (@GlennHoddle) March 2, 2016
A draw would certainly be the safe bet - considering West Ham are in such good form at the moment, winning their last two Premier League fixtures.
Spurs will however want to take full advantage of their title rivals recent slip ups. Leicester's draw and Arsenal's weekend defeat against Manchester United have handed the perfect opportunity to take the initiative in the title race.
If, as Hoddle states, Spurs can keep a cool head this evening, then that should be the case.
