Fabio Borini reacts on Twitter after Sunderland's draw with Palace

Sunderland drew 2-2 with Crystal Palace at the Stadium of Light yesterday evening.

Sunderland attacker Fabio Borini says that he is ‘buzzing’ to have got the equaliser for his side against Crystal Palace last night.

Sunderland drew 2-2 with Palace at the Stadium of Light yesterday, with Borini’s late cameo helping them to rescue a point.

The Black Cats had actually taken the lead in the fixture, when Dame N’Doye scored during the first half.

However, Palace looked like a different side in the second period and scored twice through Connor Wickham to turn the game on its head.

At that stage it looked liked the Eagles would claim the three points, but Borini came to the rescue by scoring with a wonderful strike in the last minute.

And the Italian striker posted on social media this morning, to express his delight at the impact he made.

Borini has only played a bit-part role since Sam Allardyce took charge, and he only has three goals to his name throughout the entirety of the campaign.

Sunderland’s draw with Palace has taken them out of the relegation zone, with their next match coming against Southampton on Saturday.
