Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Jack Price has used social media to say that he was pleased to get some minutes under his belt during an appearance for the reserve team on Monday night.
Earlier in the season, the 23-year-old featured regularly for Kenny Jackett's side but he has played just twice since the 4-1 defeat away at Sheffield Wednesday at the start of the Christmas period.
The club's return to form coincided with Price sitting out the festive games through illness and since the turn of the year, he has struggled to get minutes despite several appearances on the bench.
However, Price played the full 90 minutes at Boreham Wood as Wolves secured a 1-1 draw against Arsenal.
Good result for the boys tonight! Better chances on the night and deserved more than a draw nice to get some more minutes ⚽️— Jack Price (@jacko_8) February 29, 2016
Tommy Rowe, who was another of the senior setup on show, netted for Wolves as he too gained some valuable match fitness ahead of the trip to Middlesbrough on Friday night.
With Wolves finally ending their winless streak last weekend with a 2-1 triumph over Derby County, both men are likely to find themselves on the substitutes' bench at the Riverside Stadium.
Wolves are blessed in numbers in the centre of the park, and Jack Saville, Conor Coady and Kevin McDonald were all in excellent form against the promotion-chasing Rams.
