West Ham are looking for another famous victory against Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday evening in their last ever clash at Upton Park.
He discussed the 2006 match on the final day of the season often referred to as lasagne-gate, where Tottenham's players fell ill after a dodgy hotel meal 24 hours before the game.
After trying unsuccessfully to get the game called off, Spurs were running on empty and lost the match. It was a crucial defeat, meaning they missed out on Champions League qualification and bitter rivals Arsenal qualified instead.
Jenas said he is still haunted by the fixture 10 years on, and admitted he was delighted to see the Hammers lose the FA Cup final weeks later.
He wrote: "While sitting in that dressing room at Upton Park was my worst moment in football, I always say that seeing Steven Gerrard equalise against West Ham in the last minute in the FA Cup final from about 100 yards the following weekend was one of my happiest moments."
