Nothing like losing a match and then slipping over!

There are plenty of iconic football moments over the last few years, but none has gained as much infamy as what happened to a former Liverpool captain.

Remember back at the end of the 2013/14 season when Liverpool looked destined to win the Premier League title...? Remember when Steven Gerrard lost his footing, slipped and allowed Chelsea's Demba Ba through to help the Blues pick up a 2-0 win and effectively end the Reds title hopes?

Those really were mental times, and the image of one of the best ever Premier League players on all fours looking hopeless has become truly iconic -- unless you're a Liverpool fan.

And now it seems that whenever a footballer falls over, they're labelled as 'doing a Gerrard'! And that's exactly what happened to Liverpool's Brazilian Magician Philippe Coutinho on Sunday.

The Reds were taking on Manchester City in the Capital One Cup Final and after a tense game which ended in Liverpool losing on penalties, Jurgen Klopp's side went up to collect their runners-up medal.

While Coutinho's feet are usually rather magical, he had a right nightmare off the pitch and well and truly pulled a 'Gerrard'.
