Leeds United were beaten 4-0 by Brighton & Hove Albion at the AMEX Stadium yesterday evening.
Leeds took over 1,500 fans to the south coast, despite the match being on television, but their supporters’ loyalty was not rewarded.
The Whites were hammered by Brighton, and Redknapp has suggested that Evans’ side’s display was terrible.
“Leeds were poor,” the former Tottenham Hotspur boss said.
“[They had] fantastic away support, one of the ends at Brighton looked full up with Leeds fans. But they were horrendous mistakes that they made. They were poor.”
Leeds showed a shocking lack of fight against Brighton, and the match was over as a contest before the end of the first half.
The Seagulls took the lead through a Tomer Hemed penalty, and that strike caused a collapse from Leeds.
The Whites went on to concede three more times before the 40 minute mark, and the display sparked fury with Whites fans.
According to the Daily Mirror, Evans’ job as Leeds manager is now at risk - after chairman Massimo Cellino left at half-time.
The Whites have now won just one of their last 11 fixtures, and sit down in 17th place in the Championship table.
