Crystal Palace have failed to win any of their last nine Premier League matches.
Stan Collymore says that Crystal Palace will not find form again until they drop Yohan Cabaye from their starting line-up.
Palace have failed to win any of their last nine Premier League matches, with their two victories in 2016 both coming in the FA Cup.
And Collymore believes that part of the reason for this is because Cabaye is showing signs of fatigue.
The Frenchman is regarded as one of Palace’s most influential players, but Collymore feels that Alan Pardew should take him out of the first-team for a few matches.
Trust me @Chazzer_CPFC , if Palace get back to form, Jedinak will come back in. Cabaye is knackered.— Stan Collymore (@StanCollymore) February 28, 2016
Palace’s poor run of form has seen them slip from challenging for a European spot, all the way down to 14th place in the Premier League table.
Although the Eagles are not in any immediate relegation trouble, they are still not entirely safe.
Palace are currently eight points above the drop zone, but still need at least another two wins before they can feel entirely assured of their top flight status.
Pardew’s men’s latest defeat came against West Bromwich Albion on Saturday at the Hawthorns.
In that match, the Baggies raced into a 3-0 lead and even though Connor Wickham did pull two goals back, they were unable to make up the deficit.
