The television presenter has been discussing the Toffees' big news.
Indeed, Keys hopes Bill Kenwright has got it right with his choice of buyer as the Merseyside outfit are a 'great club.'
He is aware Kenwright has been looking to sell up for a long time now but that the Everton man has only wanted the 'right people.'
The presenter wrote: "The takeover at Everton is interesting. Bill Kenwright has been looking for the 'right people' or 'person' to sell Everton to for a long time now. Let's hope he's got it right. It's a great club."
Next up for Everton is a trip to Aston Villa on Tuesday night and it's the closest you'll get to a 'gimme' in the Premier League.
Roberto Martinez's men shouldn't be complacent, of course, but the formbooks say it all.
Villa have two wins in their last 10 in the league, although Everton only have three. Two of those have come in the Toffees' last three games, however, and fans will be hoping for a strong finish to a very inconsistent top-flight campaign.
