Crystal Palace are interested in signing Leander Dendoncker.
Crystal Palace are ready to make a move this summer for Leander Dendoncker, Calciomercato reports.
The Eagles have targeted the 20-year-old Anderlecht midfielder for the summer transfer window, believing the once-capped international has a bright future.
Able to play in central midfield and central defence, Dendoncker is naturally a holding midfielder, who has spent his entire career with Anderlecht.
This season, Dendoncker has played 24 times, taking his career tally to 64 games for Anderlecht. He has scored four goals and registered one assist in that time, cementing his reputation as one of the brightest talents in Belgium.
Alan Pardew is suitably impressed by his talents, and he has sent scouts to keep an eye on Dendoncker to track the youngster.
Clearly the reports which have been sent back to Selhurst Park have been positive, and Pardew is ready to move for him this summer.
There are no indications as to a transfer fee that Anderlecht will ask for, but Dendoncker is tied down to a contract until the summer of 2020, so the Belgian giants are not being pressed to sell him.
Despite the likelihood of a large fee being needed, Palace are not put off, and will make a formal move for Dendoncker in the summer transfer window.
