To be played on Tuesday 1st March 2016 at 19:45. Venue: Villa Park, Birmingham
Odds: Aston Villa 15/4, Draw 12/5, Everton 4/5
Aston Villa welcome Everton to Villa Park on Tuesday evening with Remi Garde’s side all but consigned to Premier League relegation this season.
The Villans are currently bottom of the table, eight points from safety with just 11 matches remaining, and it would take an absolute miracle to prevent them from playing Championship football next season.
Villa lost 2-1 to Stoke City last time out while Everton had a weekend off after the Merseyside derby was postponed due to Liverpool’s participation in the Capital One Cup final.
In early team news, Villa are without Jordan Amavi, Adama Traore and Libor Kozak while Jack Grealish and Carlos Sanchez are doubts at this stage.
As for Everton, they must do without Tyias Browning, Muhamed Besic and Darron Gibson although the latter is expected back early next month.
A win for Villa will give them some hope, no matter how slim, of survival this season, while three points for Everton could take them back into the top half of the table.
