Music legend and Manchester City fan Noel Gallagher spoke to BBC Radio 5 Live after the side beat Liverpool in the Capital One Cup final.
Gallagher had been privileged enough to be able to go into the City dressing room at Wembley after the match and revealed attacking midfielder David Silva was feeling worse for wear.
Speaking to 5 Live's 606, he said: "I've just seen David Silva in there. He's got an ice pack on his dodgy ankle."
Silva played in 110 minutes of the game, which went to extra time after the teams drew 1-1 in after the regulation 90 minutes.
He was substituted off in the second half of extra time for striker Wilfried Bony.
The Spaniard touched the ball 83 times during the match, more than any City player, and created five chances, more than any one on the pitch at Wembley.
While completing 87 per cent of his passes, the only downside of his display was his shooting, with all three efforts ending up off target.
City would love to have Silva available for the midweek game against Liverpool, but if he is nursing an ankle injury then his place in the starting XI may not be straightforward.
