Leeds United were hammered 4-0 by Brighton and Hove Albion this evening.

Leeds United served up a torrid performance away at Brighton and Hove Albion tonight, as they were hammered 4-0 at the Amex Stadium.

Tomer Hemed's penalty after a Scott Wootton foul put Chris Hughton's men in front, and Sam Baldock's deflected strike made it two shortly after.

Hemed's second and a Lewis Dunk header meant that Leeds were 4-0 down inside 37 minutes, and whilst Brighton had more chances to score, it finished 4-0 in a resounding display from the Seagulls.

The result will no doubt pile pressure on manager Steve Evans, who has now picked up just three points in the last five Championship fixtures.

During the game, a host of current players, former players and pundits all gave their reaction to Leeds' shocking defeat, with club hero Lucas Radebe slamming the side's defending, saying they weren't tight enough at the back against a rampant Brighton side.

Former Leeds defender Darren O'Dea simply couldn't believe what he was seeing as Evans' men fell apart, before pundit Adam Virgo poked some fun at Evans, but ultimately rates Leeds' young players.

One of the more interesting reactions was from Ipswich winger Ben Pringle, who was one of Evans' main players at Rotherham, but slammed the Scot in an interview with Get West London last summer, took to Twitter to mock Leeds' situation and thought Evans would be screaming in the dressing room at half time.
