HITC Sport understands that England Under-21 star is set for a new deal.
Brighton & Hove Albion are set to hand a new long-term deal to crocked star Solly March, in order to fend of Premier League interest, HITC Sport understands.
England Under-21 ace March made a brilliant start to the new season and it is no coincidence that his long-term knee injury coincided with the Seagulls loss of form.
March is not likely to return from injury until the summer, but despite this Brighton have now opened talks after learning that Southampton, West Ham and Newcastle were all ready to make offers for the unlucky 21-year-old.
March was snapped up as a 17-year-old from non-league side Lewes back in 2011. He made his debut for Brighton the following year and signed a new deal in 2014.
Now following his progress over the past 12-months, March is in line for fresh terms again - despite the fact he won't play again until next season.
