Manchester United beat Arsenal 3-2 at Old Trafford on Sunday.

Manchester United put their long injury list behind them to produce a superb display and beat Arsenal 3-2 at Old Trafford on Sunday night.

The Red Devils were without a host of big-name players against title-challenging Arsenal, but raced into a 2-0 lead as teenager Marcus Rashford scored twice in two minutes.

Danny Welbeck hit back to bring the Gunners back into the game, but Rashford set up Ander Herrera to make it 3-1 in the second half, and United managed to hold on for a 3-2 win after Mesut Ozil's consolation.

It was a real morale-boosting win for United fans, who are no doubt excited to see young players like Guillermo Varela and Rashford - two starters against Arsenal - as well as substitutes Timothy Fosu-Mensah and James Weir coming through the ranks to play in the first team.

After the game, a host of United players took to Twitter to give their reactions to the win, as Dutch defender Fosu-Mensah commented on making his Old Trafford debut.

The likes of Matteo Darmian, Phil Jones and even Wayne Rooney lavished praise on striker Marcus Rashford, who has now scored four goals in just two games for United.

Injured players such as Bastian Schweinsteiger and Ashley Young also gave their reactions, and David De Gea clarified that manager Louis van Gaal was fine after seemingly diving on the touchline during the second half.
