Tottenham will take on West Ham away from home at the Boleyn Ground on Wednesday evening, and will then face Arsenal at White Hart Lane on Saturday afternoon.
Former Spurs goalkeeper Friedel has underlined the importance of the two matches, and has also backed Mauricio Pochettino’s side to win the league title this season.
“Who would have thought that it would be Leicester and Tottenham at the top with this many games to go?” the former USA international told talkSPORT. “And I would hate to jinx it, but Tottenham look really strong for it [the Premier League title] at the moment.
“They look strong every time they play. If they go a goal a goal down they have no problem in their confidence of coming back.
"Those West Ham and Arsenal games are going to be enormous, and don’t think Manchester City will go away either, but I’m pulling for Tottenham in this one.”
Tottenham are just two points behind leaders Leicester City in the Premier League table at the moment.
The North London outfit have a genuine chance of winning the league title this season, but they need to pick up at least four points from their next two games.
West Ham will prove to be tough to win against, especially as the game is at the Boleyn Ground, while Arsenal will be under pressure to pick up all three points at White Hart Lane.
The Gunners are three points behind Spurs and are very much in the running for the Premier League title, as are fourth-placed Manchester City.
