Queens Park Rangers beat Birmingham City 2-0 at Loftus Road at the weekend.

Andy Sinton felt that every Queens Park Rangers played their part as Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink’s side beat Birmingham City 2-0 at Loftus Road on Saturday.

Sinton, who used to play for QPR, was in attendance as the London side comfortably beat Gary Rowett’s play-off chasing team.

Rangers looked comfortable throughout the contest, and they scored goals through Tjaronn Cherry and Junior Hoilett in the first half to ensure that they picked up the three points.

The performance was one of the best that the R’s have put in all season and Sinton was quick to praise the side after the match.

Hasselbaink has had an indifferent start as Rangers boss so far, but the side have started to show improvements in recent weeks.

QPR are unbeaten in their last three matches and they seem to have become a lot more resilient under the Dutchman’s stewardship.

Rangers still look destined to finish in mid-table, however, as they are currently 11 points back from the play-off places with time running out for a late surge.

The R’s next match comes against Milton Keynes Dons on Saturday, where Hasselbaink will look to guide the side to back-to-back victories for the first time.
