The pundit and former striker has heaped praise on the Tottenham goalkeeper.
Indeed, the pundit believes Lloris is a 'top-class goalkeeper' and was impressed with the 'world-class' saves the Frenchman made for Tottenham against Swansea City on Sunday afternoon.
Shearer told the BBC highlights show on Sunday night: "Any team that won the Premier League had a top-class goalkeeper. And Spurs have got a top-class goalkeeper.
"He made two world-class saves. I don’t mind seeing them three times, it’s that good. He wins them so many points."
So who can we compare Lloris to? Peter Schmeichel, Edwin van der Sar, Petr Cech, David Seaman, Joe Hart and Thibaut Courtois have all won the Premier League title and the Spurs shot stopper wouldn't be out of place in a room filled with those goalkeepers.
Compared to Hart and Courtois, there is no reason Lloris can't be considered as good if not better based on his exploits for Tottenham this season.
It's said the best goalkeepers win their side a number of points over a season and, as Shearer says, the Frenchman has definitely done that at White Hart Lane this campaign.
