Wolverhampton Wanderers supporters have been very impressed with Jeremy Helan’s start at Molineux.
The left-sided player only joined Wolves midway through last week, but he was immediately throw into Kenny Jackett’s side for their match against Derby County yesterday.
Wolves have been looking to solve their left-wing problem since Jordan Graham was ruled out with injury, and Helan’s performance suggested that he may have the capabilities of covering for the youngster.
The Sheffield Wednesday loanee was persistent in his attack, and also solid defensively, as Wolves picked up an impressive 2-1 victory over Derby.
Wolves took the lead in the first half through George Saville, before being pegged back when Chris Martin netted for the visitors.
Jackett’s men could have folded at that stage, but they proved their resilience, and won the match in the closing stages with Saville getting on the scoresheet again.
The victory was Wolves’ first for seven games, and it has lifted them up to 13th in the Championship table.
After the match it was Helan’s display which was the talk of social media site Twitter from Wolves supporters. Here is the best reaction.
Surprisingly composed and intelligent performance from #wwfc. A lot of training work had gone into that. Helan made a difference— Jay Sahadew (@jayster990) February 28, 2016
