West Ham are reportedly keen on signing Swansea star Andre Ayew again.

According to the Daily Star, West Ham United are keen to land Swansea City's Andre Ayew this summer, having failed to land him in 2015.

The Hammers moved up to fifth in the Premier League table on Saturday afternoon having beaten Sunderland 1-0 at home, but the fans know that the clock is ticking on their time at Upton Park.

The move to the Olympic Stadium is drawing ever closer, and West Ham's hierarchy may seek a marquee signing to mark the opening of their new home.

Now, the Daily Star report that West Ham are keen on attacking reinforcements, and Swansea City's Andre Ayew is a target for the club yet again.

Last summer, the Daily Mail revealed that Ayew had a last-minute change of heart, and chose to sign for Swansea City on a free transfer for Marseille, rather than head to Upton Park despite holding talks with West Ham.

However, it doesn't seem that Slaven Bilic's men are willing to end their chase, as it's now claimed that West Ham will make another move - possibly in the region of £14m - for Ayew at the end of the season, offering him a reunion with his former Marseille team-mate Dimitri Payet.

Ayew has hit eight goals for Swansea this season, and whether it's been out wide or up front, he has been impressive this season, and West Ham may have rekindled their interest in Ayew having seen how he has performed even in a team fighting against relegation.

West Ham's position in chasing Ayew would certainly be strengthened if Swansea suffer relegation, and he would offer Bilic another versatile attacking threat to go alongside the likes of Payet, Manuel Lanzini, Michail Antonio, and Enner Valencia, as West Ham look to add more dangerous players.
