Oliver Burke sends message to English clubs on Twitter after Rashford double

Manchester United 3

The Nottingham Forest youngster can relate to a youth player trying to make his mark on the big stage.

Nottingham Forest youngster Oliver Burke reacted to Marcus Rashford's double against Arsenal with a simple message for English clubs on Twitter.

Indeed, the 18-year-old feels the Manchester United talent's breakthrough serves as proof that teams should 'believe in youth.'

Burke has himself been given chances by Nottingham Forest and Rashford's wonderful week suggests Man United may well have plenty of other untapped talent they are just allowing to sit in the reserves/academy side - while at the same time spending millions on other players.

The man who scored against Manchester United, meanwhile, was a former youth product of theirs, too, in Danny Welbeck.

During the United - Arsenal clash, Burke took to social media with the following:

As for Nottingham Forest themselves, the Championship side fell to a 2-1 defeat to Bristol City on Saturday - and their players (and fans) needed to look to Michail Antonio if they wanted something to celebrate.

The former Forest man scored the winner for West Ham United against Sunderland.
