Nottingham Forest supporters comment on Freedman's future after defeat, fans want Pearson

Nottingham Forest lost 2-1 at home to Bristol City on Saturday afternoon.

Nottingham Forest slipped to a third straight defeat on Saturday afternoon, as relegation-threatened Bristol City claimed a 2-1 victory at the City Ground.

Forest took the lead through Ben Osborn, but the Robins hit back as Jonathan Kodjia and Aden Flint struck to hand Lee Johnson another victory.

It was a disappointing result for Forest, who lie down in 15th place in the Championship table, 13 points clear of relegation and 13 points adrift of the play-offs.

The pressure of modern-day management was apparent after the game, as Forest fans took to Twitter to air their frustrations with manager Dougie Freedman, as after 13 games unbeaten, three defeats have now ramped up the pressure on Freedman once again.

Fans suggested that Freedman's brand of football isn't good enough for Forest, and he hasn't improved the side since arriving as manager back in January 2015.

Some supporters even called upon owner Fawaz Al-Hasawi to sack Freedman at the end of the season, and bring in former Leicester City boss Nigel Pearson, who was born and bred in Nottingham.

Others simply stated that the performance against Bristol City was enough to be sacked alone, with Freedman coming in for stern criticism after the final whistle.

Here are some of the reactions from Nottingham Forest fans after the defeat to Bristol City...

Do you think Forest should look to replace Freedman this summer?
