Spurs got the better of Swansea 2-1 at home in North London in the Premier League, but not before suffering a scare.
Pochettino’s side had to come from behind to pick up all three points, thanks to second-half goals from Nacer Chadli and Danny Rose.
Fabianski made as many as 16 games over the course of the 90 minutes at White Hart Lane.
The former Arsenal goalkeeper’s performance impressed Tottenham head coach Pochettino, who also thanked the home fans for their support throughout the 90 minutes.
"Fabianski was great,” the Argentine told BBC Sport (16:31). “He was man of the match. It is true that today our support was fantastic. They lifted the team and always gave them belief. I thank them for that. We all appreciate their support.”
Tottenham’s performance was not particularly great, but at the end of the day they managed to pick up all three points from the encounter.
The players showed character and proved that they can stage comebacks in matches.
Spurs will return to action on Wednesday evening when they take on West Ham United away from home at the Boleyn Ground in the Premier League.
