Pundit Jamie Redknapp has told Sky Sports that he thinks West Brom will have a problem keeping striker Saido Berahino at the end of the season.
The Baggies were in top form in the first half against Crystal Palace on Saturday, as goals from Craig Gardner, Craig Dawson and Berahino put Tony Pulis' side 3-0 up by half time.
Connor Wickham's second half brace gave Palace a fighting chance, but West Brom held out to claim a valuable 3-2 win, and ease the pressure on manager Pulis.
The Welshman's best decision was starting with forward Berahino, despite the forward being accused of trying to force a move away from the club for most of the season.
The 22-year-old was simply outstanding, setting up Gardner's goal with a perfect pass to Salomon Rondon, before conjuring up an outstanding volley from Stephane Sessegnon's pass to make it 3-0.
Questions remain over Berahino's long-term future at The Hawthorns, and Jamie Redknapp believes the Baggies will have a major problem this summer.
Redknapp told Sky Sports that he thought Berahino was 'brilliant' against Palace, and waxed lyrical about his performance, before commenting on his attitude - and suggested that he can't see any way Berahino is a West Brom player next season.
"His performance was brilliant," said Redknapp. "I don't know him personally but I see a 22-year-old with so much ability, the way he moves with the ball, low centre of gravity, he can see a pass and score a goal. I just think when is the penny going to drop?
"When is he going to stop worrying about getting away from the football club and everything else apart from playing football? The rewards will come because he has the ability to go right to the top. He has been getting a bit of training and extra finishing and I think it's paying off. I thought he was magnificent and he has set a really high standard for himself."
"If the club are not going to sell you, then what do you do? You either don't commit and work hard enough to get into the team or you do what he is doing right now. I am sure West Brom will have a bit of a problem in the summer and I would be amazed if he is a West Brom player next year. I think they might have to move him on, but if he plays like that they will get really good money for him and the rewards will come to him because he has genuine talent, there are not many players like him."
