Andy Gray predicts Manchester United v Arsenal and first goalscorer

Manchester United will face Arsenal in the Premier League today.

Former Aston Villa and Everton striker Andy Gray has suggested on that Arsenal will win against Manchester United away from home this afternoon.

Arsenal will take on United away from home at Old Trafford in the Premier League.

Gray believes that the Gunners will pick up all three points from the encounter and has also backed striker Olivier Giroud to score the first goal.

“I like the look of the Gunners,” the former Scotland international wrote on “United have been hit by injuries badly, and Arsenal got an important win over Leicester last weekend.

“Yes, they did lose to Barcelona mid week, and were a bit flat in doing so, but I think they’ll go to Old Trafford and break a long hoodoo in the Theatre of Dreams.”

A footnote added: “Andy’s bet: Olivier Giroud first goalscorer at 5/1.”

Arsenal have a better team than United and will head into the match against Old Trafford as favourites.

However, it would not be wise to write off the Red Devils’ chances of winning the Premier League encounter this afternoon.

Louis van Gaal’s side will head into the game on the back of a 5-1 home victory over FC Midtjylland in the second leg of the Europa League round of 32 tie.

An early goal for United will be massively important for them, as that will help the crowd get behind the players and make things tough for the Gunners.
