The Frenchman has joined Slovan Bratislava on loan.
That form has been driven by some fierce recruitment in the summer. However, the arrival of new faces, has seen others find themselves out of contention.
One such player was Claude Dielna.
The Frenchman joined Wednesday from Olympiakos in 2014, after spending time on loan with Ajaccio in his homeland.
He 28-year-old played 25 times for the club last season and scored one goal. That goal was however a massive goal. He netted with the final kick of the game against Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park in December 2014 - which saw The Owls win the game.
But the summer of recruitment saw him out of contention this term and he has not managed to play a single game for the club so far this season.
With that in mind his exit was approved by the club this week and he headed to Slovakia, joining Slovan Bratislava on a loan deal.
He may have been a limited player but he always had time for fans. So there was plenty of positive responses and well wishers for Dielna once the move was officially confirmed...

All the best to Claude Dielna, I would have given him a chance in this squad. Think he's been harshly treated. #swfc— Tom Taylor-Batty (@TomTB1995) February 25, 2016
Dielna moving on: good luck to him. A player who belonged to #swfc teams of the last few years— SWFCchat (@SWFCchat) February 23, 2016

As bad as Dielna is, we should have kept him purely for nearly killing me at Blackburn— jack (@jb_swfc) February 26, 2016
